This card game involves solving questions such as -4+3 and 5--3, encouraging students to think about double negatives and other such questions. It is a fun way to revise the topic, and because all players see which cards are being played, it is a self correcting game.
The idea is that players are dealt a collection of cards, and then a base card is chosen. Players are invited to solve the question on the base card, then choose a card from their pack that is as close to the base card as they can get. The player who played the card that is closest wins that point.
An answer sheet is including and all the cards are designed to be easily printed and cut.
