This is a game that helps with Area of shape. Each player is given a set number of cards and they find the area on these cards. A base card is played. Players find the a card with an area the size closest to the base card. The player with the closest area to the base card wins the point.
There are 18 rectangle cards (green), 18 triangle cards (yellow), 18 compound shapes (red), 9 parallelograms (blue) and 9 compound shapes with triangles (grey). This makes for easy differentiation, as you can simply take out the options you haven't studied yet by finding the appropriate colour. The cards are easy to print and cut, and an answer key is included.
