This pack is filled with worksheets designed to introduce students to solving equations. It starts with simple equations that can be solved in one step, and covers two step equations. Each worksheet is differentiated 3 ways.

Worksheet 1 Introducing Simple Equations - introduces students to the idea of one step equations using shapes.
Worksheet 2 One Step Equations - solidifies one step equations, and for the first two differentiations, it includes a guide of how to perform them.
Worksheet 3 One Step Crossword - The final worksheet that covers one step equation, a crossword style puzzle.
Worksheet 4 Introducing Two Step Equations - introduces two step equations using both the scales approach and the bar method.
Worksheet 5 Two Step Equations - continues to solidify two step equations, with differentiations 1 and 2 having a guide on how to solve two step equations.
Worksheet 6 Two Step Crossword - another crossword, focusing on two steps this time.
Worksheet 7 Two Step Word Link - a fun activity involves linking equations with their solution. By joining the solutions, students will draw a line though various letters, which, when unscrambled, will spell out a mathematical word.
Worksheet 8 Two Step Maze - another fun activity, this time a maze where students find their way by selecting the correct values.
Worksheet 9 Secret Code - involves solving equations to uncover a hidden message featuring a fun fact.
Worksheet 10 Geometry Equations - a challenge that involves students forming and solving two step equations through geometric problems.
